School council were given colour coded stickers and spent time labelling the electrical plugs in their classrooms and offices. They were able to see how much electricity is wasted through people leaving plugs on that are not in use.
Activity description
Pupils will identify all IT equipment, appliances and lighting throughout the school and indicate which can be turned off using a traffic light coding system.
