Label lights and appliances to show which should be left on or turned off

Following the lead from our Trust Sustainability Team, we have adopted a sticker approach on all electrical appliances in school. A Green sticker indicates that the appliance needs to be switched off when not in use, eg lights, laptop, laminator. A Red sticker indicated that the appliance needs to remain on, eg fridge freezer in staff room. The ECO Council members are supporting all children and staff to remember and implement this rule.
