The children declared a climate emergency. The school joined Lets go Zero national campaign and became part of their case studies school page with the environmental work they are doing nationally and locally. They have encouraged the other MAT school to nominate a represtnative to have a Wessex MAT Climate Action group who will meet and plan events and writing polciies for all schools to follow. The children work on mnay local and national campaigns which include linking two towns together by bike, reducing energying consumption in all schools and also in the homes. Camapigning for more swift boxes in new built homes something that Poundbury where the school is already is leading the way thanks to the campaign.
