Activity description

Did you know that burning oil for heating produces 40% more carbon dioxide than gas, for the same amount of energy?

Many schools use oil fuelled boilers, especially in rural areas where the national gas network (the underground pipes) doesn’t reach. 

Find out more about where our oil comes from, what we use it for and what impact this all has on our environment around us.
