Bad News!  Your school's electricity use in the Autumn half term 2025 holidays has increased by 24% compared to Autumn half term 2024. Between Saturday 25 Oct 2025 and Sunday 2 Nov 2025 you used 15,000 kWh at a cost of £3,400. This is an increase of 3,000 kWh compared to the same period in the holidays last year and released an extra 920 kg CO2.

There is a large variation in seasonal overnight electricity usage from 51 kW in the winter to 39 kW in the summer. This suggests electric heating is left running overnight during the winter or the school has inefficient security or flood lights. Change electric heater settings and improve lighting efficiency to save £6,500 annually.
