On returning to school after the Christmas holiday switch off and putting the heating into holiday mode, we had an issue in the Sports hall. The floor was very slippery and unable to be used safely. The heating times had previously been reduced for efficiency. The times have now been increased to be on all school day. This will result in more fuel usage, but it is required to be able to use the hall.
It should be noted that the holiday switch off did cause a few issues on returning to school. This was not helped but the extremely cold and snowy weather at the time.
