Carry out wider environmental activities around school

The school has tried to improve the pond area to make it accessible for pupils including a decking area over the water to see wildlife and the school runs litter picking activities. The school also has a nature trail around parts of the playing field so that wildflowers can grow. 

Activity description

There are more ways of helping the planet at school than just conserving energy. Log any green activities that improve sustainability and biodiversity or reduce waste and carbon emissions. Use the description box to tell us what you have done.

This could include but isn't limited to:

  • Creating a wildlife friendly garden
