Understand how our carbon emissions cause the Greenhouse Effect and Climate change

Holyhead School, Tuesday, 04 November 2025
30 points 1200 pupils Explorer KS1, KS2, KS3

We teach the impact of greenhouse emissions on the climate change in year 8 and to year 10, we have also put slides out to the whole school during tutor time. This raises awareness of our energy consumption, and encourages everyone to try and use less

Activity description

Understanding the carbon we emit as individuals and organisations is crucial if we are to reduce the negative impact we have on our environment.  This activity will demonstrate to pupils how the actions they take contribute to the warming of our planet.
