After meeting our Head Teacher today and questioning her about the time that the heating comes on she explained that it is on from 6am-12pm. We explained to her that during our daily monitoring of classroom temperatures we have noticed that the classrooms are often more than the 18 degrees they should be. We asked if we would be able to change the start time to 7am which she agreed and some of the Eco Team made this change on the boiler system with her. We explained that we will monitor this change (looking at our daily checks) to see if it has an impact on the temperature in the classrooms during the day.
