A visitor from energy sparks came in to our school to talk about how much energy that we are using. He showed us the baseline of our energy use and how much it is on every day. We were very engaged and we quite enjoyed it!
Activity description
The schools that have the most success is cutting their energy use and reducing their carbon emissions are the ones where everybody knows about your energy goals.
There are lots of ways of spreading the word about Energy Sparks (see here for talking to the different groups of adults in your school) but to get pupils talking about tackling energy waste, the best way is always with an assembly.
