We had a boiler service and the plumber came to explain how the boiler and timer work to the children. We talked about times to turn off the heating and water- the children understood that the cleaners needed both and so we discussed working condition. We reset the timer to come on an hour earlier due to under floor heating but turning the heating off at lunch as the school stays warm in the afternoon due to the number of children and retaining the heat. This shaved off a few hrs per day.
