Today the students engaged in a lesson on carbon emissions, the greenhouse effect and climate change. The students learnt how carbon footprints are increased, evaluated how big their own is and how they could reduce them. Items were discussed such as walking where you can, switching off electrical items and reducing single use plastics. Science lessons were delivered discussing greenhouse gases and the effect these can have on the environment and how climate change impacts us as humans, our natural resources and plants and wildlife. The students are now planning to help with creating a wildlife area within our school
