Over the summer holidays, heating was turned off. Heating is timed and scheduled in the school calendar when heating will be turned on and when it will be turned off. A boiler test usually happens within Autumn One and then heating on for Autumn Two and Spring One, dependent on the temperatures outside. When the boiler is switched on, it is timed to come on before staff arrive and is on for around 7am and switches off by 1pm.
