Gas usage increased after May half-term. Boiler was serviced during May half-term. It may have an issue with the BMS which has caused it to run when not needed including during weekends and at nights. Site Manager has been shown how to override this so this should resolve the issue in the short-term until the school gets an engineer on site to investigate properly.
