We have started a new campaign of "turn down, turn off and close" around the building. Posters have been put up to encourage staff and students to carry out activities designed to reduce wastage, improve energy efficiency, reduce energy use and cost. Examples include:

- turn down the heating during cold weather
- turn off the lights when leaving a room
- close the windows to keep the heat in the building
- turn down the air conditioning during hot weather and use natural ventilation
- turn off computers, screens and devices at the end of the day
- close doors to rooms to keep the warmth in
