Ahead of a Friday Inset Day, when the school would be closed, we ensured all unnecessary electrics were turned off and the heating de-activated for a 3 day weekend to save on wasted energy and associated costs. Although, it took a little longer than normal on the Monday to heat the school back up, there were no adverse effects. We will look to do this again before other Inset Days / Bank Holidays as all these little efforts will soon add up.
