James came to school and we used the thermal camera to investigate areas of heat that we could investigate further. We looked in the hall, and in the kitchen, then the staff room.
Activity description
Using a thermal imaging camera will allow you to see exactly where your school is losing heat, and then plan measures to improve insulation.
If your school does not have a thermal camera these can often be borrowed from secondary schools, university, local council or sustainability groups in your area.
