Agenda Item:Aspire Initiative – Energy Saving Stickers
1. Introduction
Miss Moine explained that as part of our Aspire goals, we are launching an energy-saving initiative.
Children were told how we can help the environment by knowing what to turn off and what needs to stay on.
2. The Plan
We are using green dot stickers for things that can be turned off (like whiteboards and laptops).
We are using red dot stickers for things that must stay on (like fridges and phones).
3. Taking Action
After the explanation, the children went around the school and placed the stickers where they were needed.
Everyone joined in sensibly and did a great job.
4. Next Steps
Classes will be reminded to follow the dots.
School council might check later to see how it’s going.
Meeting closed.
Activity description
Pupils will identify all IT equipment, appliances and lighting throughout the school and indicate which can be turned off using a traffic light coding system.
