Activity 2 : 30 minute workshop with Year 5. Included a discussion of the Energy Sparks website and a discussion and use of the energy audit equipment brought - what their function was, how it's used, and what it tells you about how energy is used in school.
Activity 3 : 30 minute workshop with Year 6. Included a discussion of the Energy Sparks website, data, graphs and activities they can get involved in.
Activity 4: Met Andrew Kay for 50mins where we drilled in further to some of the Energy Sparks data, graphs and actions, using the, previously sent, 1-to-1 analysis as a basis. We identified key areas to investigate:
- Reducing electricity baseload further.
- Reducing peak electricity during the day.
- Looking to the future of LEDs and heat pumps.
- Looking at the Admin features: times, floorspace, school, community times and tariffs.
