The school council highlighted the need to lower energy usage over the school holidays. They spoke to the headteacher about this.
On the last day of school the headteacher ensured as many checklist items as possible were completed. In addition to previous attempts at reducing energy usage out of hours, the headteacher ensured that everything that could be turned off was also turned off at the socket/the wall. Messages were also shared in the staff briefing about energy usage over the school holidays.
