From the 10th November to 21st November, the whole school has taken part in Switch-Off fortnight. It began with a group of Year 6 children, who are on a pupil voice team, auditing the school's electronics and switches. They added a colour-coded sticker system to support all pupils and staff to be able to switch more things off. This system was shared with the school during the week and posters were displayed to remind everyone. The same group of children completed audits throughout the fortnight to see which class or area of the school was the best at switching off. Additionally, on both Mondays of the fortnight, the school held 'Minimalist Mondays' with the aim being to use as little energy for the days as possible - eg. no computers, no worksheets printed. Our parent community was aware of the event as we advertised it through the newsletter and Class Dojo.
