Create and maintain a holiday switch off list

We started our first holiday switch off for the Christmas holidays. Our Eco TA and Premises Manager worked out our ‘shut down’ sheet and planned how we could put it into operation. We involved our school office who informed the staff, and our Climate Ambassadors who helped to consolidate all spare food into one fridge freezer. Our Premises Manager shut down all possible electrical appliances including water boilers, fridges and hand dryers, as well as our heating to frost protection only. He checked every class for lights and windows too!
