Rota created, loads of volunteers. Giant thermometers in every classroom and one hanging in the garden. Pairs go round at break and lunch to record the temps on a data collection sheet. This is done once or twice a week. It is really interesting to see which rooms are hotter than others and how they temperatures change through the day. We'll use this data in a maths lesson.
Activity description
Investigate whether the school is too warm or too cold. If the school is too warm the heating should be turned down to 18C to save energy. Report temperature readings on the Pupil Dashboard or download our temperature recording sheet.
