Carry out wider environmental activities around school

Agreed the layout of where to plant the trees. These were 30 mixed trees from Woodland Trust

At Eco Club  dug holes, planted the saplings one week. The second week we mulched around the bottom of the trees and put tree protector guards around them to protect htem but also make them more obvious for the grounds keepers when they are mowing.


Activity description

There are more ways of helping the planet at school than just conserving energy. Log any green activities that improve sustainability and biodiversity or reduce waste and carbon emissions. Use the description box to tell us what you have done.
