students had a session on the carbon footprint that started with a teacher lead PowerPoint followed by them using the footprint guide to design their own carbon footprint having become aware of the things that contribute to the carbon footprint. the designs will be posted across the school site to share the knowledge. the students learnt that no matter what you do there will still eb a carbon footprint.
Activity description
Understanding the carbon we emit as individuals and organisations is crucial if we are to reduce the negative impact we have on our environment. This activity will demonstrate to pupils how the actions they take contribute to the warming of our planet.
