the students used the resources on the platform to identify and analyse the types, advantages and disadvantages of renewable energy sources. We also looked at the types we use in our communities and the wider country, their cost and impacts. the activities were turned into a competition that enabled some excitement and laughter while learning important information.
Activity description
This lesson will provide pupils with an overview of how electricity is produced, including fossil fuels and renewables, where our gas comes from and how our energy use affects the environment.
Three activities, including videos, infographics and worksheets, will provide a solid basis for whole classes or smaller groups for further energy research and projects.
