Last year you used 580 kWh of gas and 3,200 kWh of electricity in the Easter 2025 holidays. Turn off your heating, hot water and electrical appliances to save around £860 this year. 

Gas use in the Spring half term 2026 holidays has increased by 1,400% compared to Spring half term 2025. 

Between Saturday 14 Feb 2026 and Monday 23 Feb 2026 you used 5,100 kWh of gas at a cost of £330. Adjusting for changes in outside temperature, this is still an increase of 4,800 kWh and 870 kg CO2. Ask the school site manager to check the heating controls to reduce gas use during the school holidays.
