Your Energy Sparks account

If your school already has an Energy Sparks account then there will be a member of staff at your school or Multi-Academy Trust who has been assigned as a school admin user.

This person is responsible for adding new staff or pupil accounts for your school, so please ask them to register you as a user.

If you are unsure whether your school has an Energy Sparks account, or are unable to find out who your school admin is, please contact us.

When logged in you can always access your profile via the My account link in the navigation bar. Or visit your profile now — you will be prompted to sign in if required. 

Be sure to click Update to save your changes.

We encourage users to sign up to our newsletters which provide information about how to get the most out of Energy Sparks, how to engage pupils in climate action, how to foster energy saving leadership across your school community, and more. 

You can manage your email preferences via your profile page. This is accessed via the My account link in the navigation bar. Or visit your profile now — you will be prompted to sign in if required. 

Choose Update email preferences and choose your areas of interest. This will ensure you receive newsletters that are tailored specifically to your role in school and how you will be using Energy Sparks.

Click Update to save your changes.

If you do not have an Energy Sparks account, but would like to receive our newsletters, you can sign up here.

Energy Sparks sends out weekly email alerts to keep you updated about changes to your energy consumption and recommended actions.

Alert emails are different to our newsletters, and we strongly recommend that each school has at least one member of staff receiving alert emails so that they get a notification if there are unexpected changes in energy consumption. This will allow your school to take prompt action to minimise energy waste and associated costs.

Email alerts can be sent to anyone with an Energy Sparks account.

You can manage your alert email preferences via your profile page. This is accessed via the My account link in the navigation bar. Or visit your profile now — you will be prompted to sign in if required.

Choose Manage alerts.

You can choose to Subscribe or Unsubscribe to alert email for any of the schools to which your account is linked.
