Overview

Leaving windows open overnight will result in significant heat loss from the school buildings and mean that more energy is required to heat up the school in the morning. It also increases the risk of frost damage. Involve your students in shutting windows at the end of the school day and get your caretaker or cleaners to check before they leave the site.
