The control of your boiler and how it is managed is important as it can have a big effect on its energy consumption. Fixing the boiler controls is often the most cost effective way of reducing your gas consumption. Sometimes, the school is unaware of how the boiler is controlled and whether the settings are reasonable.

Complete the Boiler configuration review sheet or send it to your boiler engineer to complete. If your boiler engineer needs to visit the school to complete the sheet, then you could wait until the annual service, in which case put a note in your diary to remind you to send them the sheet just before their scheduled visit.
