Started a campaign to open blinds and switch off lights

reminder email sent to all staff today, to remember a few things and to remind children.
We are looking at some ways to save on the electricity and gas used within the school. We are also trying to involve children in Energy efficiency round the school. I know most of you are very good, but just a few reminders.
We are looking at some ways to save on the electricity and gas used within the school. We are also trying to involve children in Energy efficiency round the school. I know most of you are very good, but just a few reminders.
Can we please remind you of the following:

Turn off lights and computers when leaving the rooms. Lights should be turned off lunchtime as well as at the end of the day,
- Whiteboards are left on standby at the end of the day - please make sure you can turn them off before you leave.
- With winter fast approaching, the heating will soon be on. Please make sure, and remind children to close all doors and windows when heating is on. If you need the window open, please turn your heating down.
- Open blinds to allow natural light in.
