Hold an assembly to introduce your school to Energy Sparks

What you did

Energy Sparks Team worked together to design and show a power point in a whole school assembly. They introduced themselves and talked about the school's progress towards reducing our gas and electric consumption. The team asked the pupils for their ideas on how the school can do this.
Next step is to show the power point at the next governor's meeting.

Activity description

The schools that have the most success is cutting their energy use and reducing their carbon emissions are the ones where everybody knows about your energy goals.

There are lots of ways of spreading the word about Energy Sparks (see here for talking to the different groups of adults in your school) but to get pupils talking about tackling energy waste, the best way is always with an assembly.
