What you did
The whole school are involved in a local scheme for school children to bring in any old or unwanted plastic lids. The lids are then collected and are recycled at a factory in Hull. The lids are used to make a range of furniture for schools in the country. Hunsley Primary School have recently received their first item of furniture; table and chairs which have been made out of the recycled lids! The school's eco - team editor has written a piece for our the school's newsletter, encouraging us to collect more lids!
