Inkersall Spencer Academy, Monday, 19 December 2022
5 Change-maker KS1, KS2, KS3, KS4, KS5

What you did

ECO representatives and Governor to move around and label appliances together with red, yellow and green stickers on laptops, sound systems, printers, lights etc. these will identify what children can switch off or ask an adult if they see this coloured sticker on a plug or switch.
Spoke with site manager for assistance and agreed green means turn off, yellow not sure so ask an adult for confirmation and red means leave alone must be on at all times.

Activity description

Pupils will identify all IT equipment, appliances and lighting throughout the school and indicate which can be turned off using a traffic light coding system.
