Aled from Ynni Da came in to visit our Energy Council. He talked to us about where our electricity in the UK comes from and what impact this is having on our planet.
We learnt about Fossil Fuel, Nuclear, Biomass, Wind, Tidal, Solar and Hydroelectric Power Stations. We also learned where some of these power stations are.
He also talked to us about our energy use at home and how we could reduce our energy use. We have discussed some of these ideas and are considering adapting them to help reduce energy in school.
