This data makes so much more sense to us now that community use is included!
It shows that energy use starts in the morning at about 4am when the heating comes on. There is then a spike when the leisure centre opens between 6 and 7am.
Our energy use peaks when pupils start to arrive at school and we think this is due to breakfast club and more people in the leisure centre. We also think this could be the canteen starting to cook our break time snacks and lunch.
Our next peak is at breaktime, and our energy use continues to drop throughout the rest of the day until 4pm once pupils have gone home. This starts to rise again which is when evening classes and sessions are taking place in the leisure centre. This slowly drops throughout the rest of the evening until the leisure centre closes at 10pm.
