The scheduled phase 5 upgrade of the Trust's "One Network" was completed through the February 2023.

As part of the scheduled works and working with the students PECO (Priory Eco Committee) we asked them to identify anything they thought would be a saving in relation to ICT infrastructure across the school.

They identified that every computer in the ICT suites was always on standby, even in the period 6 lessons after school, and asked if there was nay way that the computers could power down completely.

Having taken with query to the IT team they added in "power down" element to the server upgrade so that at the end of every day at 5pm all computers power down completely and reboot at 7am in time for any server errors to be identified before the start of the school day.
