The eco reps now record the food wastage every day so that we can see which dishes cause the wastage. These reps held an assembly to talk to the whole school about this. The wastage charts are there for all to see in the dining room.
We discussed the different types of food waste: counter, plate and prep. We explained where the food waste goes.
We have introduced a 1,2,3 portion size so that pupils and staff can ask for smaller or larger portions.
