Teacher and supply laptops are now on a rolling programme for replacement every few years, ensuring IT equipment is up-to-date and energy efficient. We have removed old desktop computers from the corridor, as they were surplus to requirements and keeping them switched on was unnecessary and wasteful.  We have plans to change our IT suite into a library/intervention space because we now have enough mobile devices to teach the curriculum without squeezing into the IT suite. The desktop computers in here are also in need up updating, which would be wasteful given they are never used. The children are involved in making decisions about what the space might be used for.
