This unit uses real world data from Energy Sparks schools to cover the National Curriculum objectives of the Statistics unit - interpret and construct pie charts and line graphs and use these to solve problems. We hope using real world data in this way that will inspire pupils to look at their own school’s energy use and take action to reduce their energy consumption. As well as energy use, this resource will cover other areas addressing sustainability, such as transportation and diet. 

This activity also addresses the following Sustainable Development Goals 7,11 and 12
