Our pupil eco club undertake regular energy audits and record the outcome. The audits are based on a check list to ensure consistency, with the findings used as part of the schools reward and recognition process. The audits identify areas of improvement in terms of turning off unnecessary lighting and heat loss through open doors or windows. As the activity is pupil lead it not only increases their individual awareness of the importance of energy management it also has a positive influence on staff in terms of awareness and creating a positive behaviour. .
