Following an eco-committee meeting, the children within our group split into groups to put up signage to encourage children and staff to turn of unused lights throughout the school day. The children worked in mixed-aged groups to encourage full understanding of why this was taking place.
Activity description
Pupils will identify all IT equipment, appliances and lighting throughout the school and indicate which can be turned off using a traffic light coding system.
