40 Solar panels will be installed over the summer by Wessex Eco Energy. The children went to Headteacher to ask if the DfE Energy efficiency fund could be spent on Solar panels. The children with Darren Tims and Mr Moore researched businesses that could give a quote for the solar. Wessex Eco Energy was the chepeast but also they were local and only 2 minutes from the school. We hope to collobrate with them on renewable energy and have them into speak to the children. They have a special pod that explains all about solar and batteries that they will visit th school with before the Summer Holdiays. The school will get their money back after 3 years. Then save £5000 per year which can go on other items with in the school.
