School Inset Day 25.4.22

During our school inset day we had time as a whole school to discuss new initiatives that will be starting this term. During this time myself and Mr Williams (Deputy Head) discussed with teachers, learning support assistants and volunteers working in the school about the energy crisis going on and the cost of living. We talked about our energy usage in school and how much we had used last year and how much we spent on electricity just in the Easter holidays. From this discussion we talked about trying to reduce our costs and how I would be working with the Bright Sparks (Science Ambassadors) to try and improve our school usage using the Energy Sparks website.
