What you did
The pupils in Swallows and Swans completed a project on Food Waste. we learnt about the amount of energy and water that goes into food production and the impact wasting food can have on the environment.
We completed a diamond nine activity to find out the causes of food waste. We made infographics showing some shocking statistics and we wrote some recipes for some of the most commonly wasted foods. We have made a Waste Not Want Not recipe book and we are selling it to raise money for Pennar Community Hall Warm Rooms.
