What you did

We discovered that energy can come from different sources, such as coal, biodegradable waste, gas, oil, and solar. We also talked about carbon dioxide in the atmosphere - we need a little to keep the earth the right temperature, but at the moment we have too much, so we have global warming.

Activity description

This lesson will provide pupils with an overview of how electricity is produced, including fossil fuels and renewables, where our gas comes from and how our energy use affects the environment.

Three activities, including videos, infographics and worksheets, will provide a solid basis for whole classes or smaller groups for further energy research and projects.
