Learn about where our electricity and gas comes from and their impact on the environment

Perth Academy, Friday, 17 May 2024
10 Explorer KS1, KS2, KS3, KS4

What you did

Pupils studied renewable and non-renewable energy sources. They produced their own P/P on the advantages and disadvantages of an energy type and presented it to the rest of the class.

Activity description

This lesson will provide pupils with an overview of how electricity is produced, including fossil fuels and renewables, where our gas comes from and how our energy use affects the environment.

Three activities, including videos, infographics and worksheets, will provide a solid basis for whole classes or smaller groups for further energy research and projects.
