Energy Action
- KS2 pupils to attend Fuel Poverty Workshops with Energy Action
- Review Central Heating operating times and agree an energy-efficient heating policy
- Ensure all members of the school community are taking responsibility for saving energy.
- Eco monitors in each class to switch off lights and projectors when class leave the classroom
- An adult in school to attend Carbon Literacy Training
- Share cut your carbon 9 step challenge with families in November for cut your carbon month.
- Ask the whole school to celebrate Earth Hour on Saturday 23rd March 2024 between 8:30 and 9:30 pm. Duration
Whole year Monitoring Method
- ECO monitors will do weekly monitoring in classrooms ( lighting, projectors, white boards, ventilation etc.)
- Eco council to review data on Energy Sparks
Aim
- To reduce the schools energy usage by 5% in a year.
- For children to have a greater understanding of what they can do to save energy. Informing & Involving Plans
- Update people on the schools energy use in assembly and school newsletter
- Staff informed via staff meetings on energy usage Final Evaluation
