Switched off lights and IT equipment after school

Wed 22nd Jan 2025

During a staff meeting I introduced Aspires drive to become more energy concious and efficient to teaching and support staff,  tasking them to become active in identifying electrical equipment to switch off overnight/at the weekendand any lighting that can be done without.

I spoke at a student school council meeting with regard to keeping an eye out for lighting in toilets and unoccupied rooms that can be switched off after use, ensuring doors and windows are closed if possible.
As an input to the drive from the premises side of things I am undertaking a staged change over from light sensor operation of external lighting to timer controlled.
