The previous week we went around the school and put red/orange/green stickers on light switches and plug sockets so that children are aware of which electricity outlets they can switch off when not in use.
We then did an assembly where we introdocued our, 'Penguin of Power' which will be awarded to the best class each week for fitting our criteria:
- bins used correctly
- lights turned off when appropriate
- plug sockets turned off when not in use
- plants kept healthy
